Post No. 100

Two souls from two totally different worlds met each other on a lonely stretch of road

Their lives intertwined and formed a bond
It was so strong that almost nothing could break it
From that day onwards they travelled together down the road

Through thick and thin they went together
Shared each others' weal and woes
And were literally inseparable

4 years down, a catastrophe occurred
Lightning struck them and the bond weakened
Day by day the distance between them grew
But all was not lost
Their fading bond was saved by a thin golden thread

Recovering from the shock the thread grew thicker
Now the bond is stronger than ever
They swore never to let anything separate them again

On the night of 12th Jan 2009 they arrived at a split road
Each had their own path to follow

The long 5 year journey ended almost in a flash
The journey was long and tough
But they pulled through together

Goodbyes are always hard to say
Unwilling to leave they stood there looking at the silver full moon
Stars twinkled all around in the night sky

Soon they had to move on
One last encouragement
One last handshake
One last hug
And then...

Though being miles apart
Their bond will still remain as strong

I know their paths will definitely meet again one day

To Sean Teh Ming Quan..
All the best for your future endeavours in JC and thank you for being my best friend for the past 5 years...
