I'M BACK!!..and yes, i'm gonna talk about the recent SP Adventurers' FO Camp i went thru during the weekends..one word...FUN!..my group name is...HAYABUSA which is japanese for peregrine falcon..apparently its tough to create a group cheer using this 4-syllabled name..oh well, thats not important...

day 1..and we got wet..my group was playing tug-of-war with another group when we saw the remaining 2 grps throwing water bombs at each other..like OMG!..but in the end, i did not really get totally wet..onli my board shorts and right side of my shirt got wet..no big..haha..but what surprised me was...no night walk..like huh?!..its odd you know..i even thought the seniors wanted us to sleep early and then wake us up in the middle of the night for a journey of courage into the darkness...

day 2..land activities..seniors gave each group $35 to prepare our own dinner..1 broccoli dish, 1 potato dish, 1 egg dish and 1 soup..we got our stuff at Clementi's NTUC..we bought quite a lot i must say..when we came back, it was our turn to go rock climbing..wooo!..and i unknowingly became the first victim of my group to scale the wall at moberly..and i must say, i did i pretty good job myself..hahahahahaha..

[the following conv. is totally made up:]
someone says: ew, so thick skinned sia
terence wjf says: wad?!
someone says: nothing...
terence wjf says: -.-

back to the topic..i did not get to try abseiling cos there wasnt enough time..awww..we set off for PM aka Poly Marina at West Coast Park with our everything..the walk there was tiring i tell u..dinner was delicious..we cooked tom yam soup which everybody kept drinkin cos it was so good..IM NOT KIDDING!..we like dumped tau pok, hotdog, tomatoes, toufu, fishball and that long and thin mushroom which usually goes well with soup..wad else, the omlette turned out ok...broccoli with oyster sauce wasnt bad..oh and the potatoes..we 'deep fried' them to get wedges...DELICIOUS..who'd knew that such things could actually taste SOOO good..except for the last batch, which was apparently seasoned with salt...i dunno why..and they turned out to be like, super salty french fries..even with mayo, it was like....-no comments-...

day3..the day everyone has been waiting for..my group went kayaking first..we were taught a few new skills of kayaking like the back paddle and the sweep..thats basically it..oh and our dear senior Thomas purposely took the opportunity of being close to my kayak and splashed my partner and i..every splash he created his us with great accuracy i tell u..we wanted to hit him back, but we got it again..-.-..Chris' kayak capsized and we were like...o.0..but good thing he could swim and 'saved' his partner who could not swim..

here's the most exciting bit...BOATING..it was so damn thrilling..our dear Willard or aka LARD brought me, bella and chin hwee on a little ride..off we went and WOW!..the boat sure is fast..he purposely went over some waves created by a passing boat and the power boat was hit so hard..our ride like, rocked/jerked/went down and it was like WOAH..i hit bella's chin with my head when that happened and im so sorry..apparently, somehow, the boat shorted out and we were stuck..good thing the second boat came to our rescue not long after or we would have to paddle back..what was once wet became dry just like that..

my crocs gave me so many blisters and they hurt on the way to this food centre in clementi..good thing our last activity was jetty jump..cos, all u had to do was, JUMP!..its always like that..when u see it from below it does not look high..but after u get onto the platform...haha, its SO scary...the fall felt 'long', but when u hit the water, everything is like...-bubble bubble bubble- until u surface...dun worry, we were wearing our FLOATATION DEVICES..aka life vests..the sea water was like stinging everyone's eyes and it felt not so good..but it was a hell-lotta-fun..of course, i cant swim and my senior had to drag me to the ladder for me to climb back..

and thats basically it..the camp ended with a BANG and my souvenir, tanned skin and a heavy bag with a set of wet clothes to painstakingly carry home..CS told us that there's an outing to sentosa this coming sunday for campers where we get our 'special gift'..he like totally leaked it out to part of my grp including me when we were waiting for the boaters to return..

CS: ur $20 camp fees arr..$10 goes to paying for the boat de fuel
terence wjf: den the other half lehs
CS: the other half is for ur xxxx xxxxxx de..
Felicia aka siao char boh: wei! y u tell them..spoil the surprise
CS: oh ya!..keep it within urself hor..

haha..stay tuned to find out what it is onli on....-snores-..
